Architect with honors from the Barcelona School of Architecture, including a one-year exchange at the Glasgow School of Arts. Master’s degree in Humanities: Contemporary Art, Culture, and Literature. After working in several architecture studios, I collaborated for four years with the office of Pere Joan Ravetllat, Professor of Architectural Design and Director of the MBArch track in Architectural Rehabilitation and Restoration.

Since 2021 I have combined professional practice with teaching as an associate professor in the Department of Graphic Expression at UPC – ETSAV. In 2023, I received the Award for Research and Architectural Theory at the 13th AJAC Awards. And my work has been featured in various media and exhibitions, including the 2018 Venice Biennale and a 2023 nomination for Building of the Year by ArchDaily.

Ruben Casquero Arquitectura was established in 2022 with the intention of caring for those places that already exist.
